Sterling got his start in music in 2015 where he started performing open mics and playing gigs at the age of 16. Sterling was born in 1999 in Austin, Texas. Moving around as a kid he lived all over Texas and New Mexico growing up. Throughout his childhood he was exposed to a wide range of music and sounds that made him develop a love and passion for music. In 2013 his grandfather gifted him a guitar and the rest was history. He taught himself how to play guitar, sing, write songs, perform, produce, mix/master, etc.

in 2017, by the time he was 18, Sterling had produced and released his first EP. Since then he's released music every year, getting better and more well rounded as an artist. He's played hundreds of shows, and produced for other artists such as; Morgan Nicole, Letsinger, and SuleyFM. He's also written songs for other artists like Ty Openshaw, and Luke Slu.

Sterling is known in the industry for his hard work, and kind demeanor. His music is touching,  and powerful with his introspective lyrics that talk about his struggles with mental health in a relatable way. He's been streamed tens of thousands of times. His music has been played on the radio. He's appeared on Up Late Austin, Dennis Tardan's Reasonably Spontaneous Conversations, and Sonya Jevette's podcast. Additionally Sterling has been featured in magazines such as Canvas Rebel, and Voyage Austin.
